Through a personal one-to-one I will devise your personal individual treatment/healing program for you, using Ayurvedic diagnosis methods to assess your constitution type and current state of health. As well as this we will talk about your diet and lifestyle, medical and family/genetic history, current life trends, work and personal/marital/family relationships etc. Please be prepared to open up a bit about yourself.
If you are agreeable, I will discuss how small but positive changes can be incorporated into your lifestyle for your improved health and well-being. Changes may consist of some possible adjustments to your eating habits, lifestyle and may include medicines and external therapy applications.
The length and type of treatment depends on each person as different levels of support are required to maintain individual healing. It may be the case that you may benefit more from one of our above specific Healthcare packages. We can discuss these options with you at your initial consultation appointment.
Your initial consultation lasts approximately 60 minutes (£60) and follow-up appointments are approximately 45 minutes (£40).
If you decide to opt for one of the above specific Healthcare Packages, your initial consultation, follow up appointments, medicines and therapy treatments will all be included in the total price of the package. (Any consultation fee already paid will be refunded against the cost of package). Packages vary in cost and duration and are generally anything from from six weeks to six months.
If you would like to enquire how Ayurveda could work for you or would like to receive a quote for any of the above packages, please telephone or email us.
If we look at the motivations behind our thoughts and actions—conscious and unconscious—they are all to get us closer to the feeling, or at least the idea, of happiness.
Yet in spite of our worldly success and social relationships, we sometimes feel lonely, empty, as if something is missing. Even when we experience happiness, it tends to be more of a brief touch than a lasting embrace. We seem to slip back to a lower plane, a place of wanting, again and again.
Some of us have long asked why we cannot hold on to happiness. For all of the scholarship and human insights across the centuries, nobody has found a complete and enduring answer? Perhaps because it has been too close to see…
For ages it has been said we should follow our heart, that our heart knows the truth. Why? This is because our true self, the spark of True Source, within our heart has its own consciousness. This consciousness is much higher than our brain consciousness, and it knows the real truth -- what is best for us and for others.
Why should I try Ayurveda counselling, you may ask? Well, why not? Ayurveda has long existed in the capacity of treating symptomatic aspects of mental and emotional health, even having a specialist branch of study dedicated to counselling and disorders of the mind and heart.
